Health Services

The Swan Partners healthcare team has considerable experience across both Health and Social Care, assisting commissioners and providers alike in delivering system change.

Our team are experienced commercial accountants who can work with you to develop and assess clinical strategies; support financial and commercial activities; and help improve overall performance management and outcomes.

We have worked for both the public and private sectors, including the Department of Health, Monitor, PCTs (and now CCGs), Acute Trusts, Foundation Trusts and private organisations. We work flexibly with local cross functional and sector teams including clinicians to deliver the optimal solutions, taking account of local capacity and experience.

The types of work we undertake are set out below (for detailed information, place your cursor over the row title).

We have a strong understanding of the direction of travel and how the Health and Social Care Act is being interpreted, including joint NHS and Local Authority funding and competition. We understand NHS procurement and how services are commissioned having run procurements and negotiated as principal for c£400m of clinical services. We have significant experience of Community services and therefore understand the opportunities risks and practical aspects of entering and operating in this evolving market.
